Exploring the Future of Brain-Computer Interfaces in Healthcare.

Dr dimitris Pinotsis

Dr Dimitri Pinotsis is a theoretical neuroscientist with a PhD in Mathematics and a Masters in Theoretical Physics from the University of Cambridge. He is now a Research Affiliate at MIT and an Associate professor at the City – University of London. His research spans machine learning, the analysis of big data in neuroimaging, theoretical neurobiology and nonlinear systems in mathematical physics. In recent work, he exploits deep neural networks and hierarchical Bayesian inference to understand the causes of neurological and psychiatric disorders. As well as brain recordings to build better AI algorithms.
